The Langtang Gosainkunda Trek is a spectacular Himalayan journey combining the beautiful Langtang Valley with the sacred alpine lakes of Gosainkunda. The trail passes through rhododendron and pine forests, traditional Tamang villages, Buddhist monasteries, alpine landscapes, and high mountain viewpoints. The route reaches Gosainkunda at about 4,380 m and, on the classic route, crosses Lauribina La Pass at about 4,610 m.

The trek is generally considered moderate to challenging, particularly because of the high-altitude section around Gosainkunda and Lauribina La. Good physical preparation, gradual acclimatization, and a steady walking pace are important. The most popular trekking seasons are spring (March–May) and autumn (September–November).
